Online Therapy for Women in Homewood, Illinois
Helping women break free from anxiety, stress, and identity struggles.
About Me
Hi, I’m Marissa Goldman, Licensed Clinical Therapist and founder of The Vessel Therapy in Homewood, Illinois. I specialize in working with busy women, especially high-achieving professional mothers who carry the weight of being everything to everyone while silently battling stress, guilt, and emotional exhaustion.
With over 10 years of experience in social services and mental health, I use a trauma-informed, faith-centered, and evidence-based approach to help women heal from childhood and family trauma, manage anxiety, and rediscover balance in their daily lives. Together, we quiet anxiety, release guilt, and rebuild identity so you can feel grounded, confident, and connected to who you truly are, both as a woman and a mother.
My Story
For years, I did everything for everyone else and still felt something was missing. I was running on empty, overworking, people-pleasing, and ignoring my own needs while trying to be strong. My life was guided by unhealed trauma and survival mode. Healing changed everything.
Through my own journey, I learned to set boundaries, honor my needs, and show up fully for myself and my children. I no longer pour from an empty cup, and our home is filled with more peace, laughter, and presence than ever before.
This is the same hope I hold for you, that you can live with ease, move through your days without constant anxiety, and rebuild a life that feels aligned, whole, and sustainable. You deserve to be nurtured while you nurture others.
When you work with me, you gain a therapist who sees the woman beneath the roles. Together, we’ll quiet the noise, release guilt, and create a rhythm of peace that supports both your healing and your purpose.
You don’t have to do it alone.
Let’s begin your healing journey, book your free consultation and take the next step toward wholeness.
My Approach
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. Therapy with me is not just about coping. It is real change. We will:
Challenge anxious thoughts with CBT so you can think clearly.
Reconnect with your body using mindfulness and self-compassion.
Strengthen your identity with values, work, and boundary setting.
Create practical tools you can use at home, work, and in motherhood.
Who I Help
I support women who feel consumed by anxiety, stress, and constant demands. You may be in the thick of motherhood, shifting life phases, or stuck in burnout. You want clarity, ease, and a life that reflects your values.
