For years, I believed that the right relationship could be the missing piece—that if I found someone who loved me deeply and stood beside me, I’d finally feel whole.

But here’s the truth God’s been revealing to me: no one can give you wholeness. Wholeness comes from being anchored in who you are, knowing whose you are, and walking in alignment with your purpose.

This season of my life has made that crystal clear. I’ve been fasting for clarity, preparing for my baptism, and learning to rest in the life God is building for me. I walked away from a job that no longer served my peace. I’ve released people, patterns, and expectations that were never mine to carry.

Alignment has meant saying “no” to distractions, not because they’re bad, but because they’re not mine. It’s meant waking up and asking God to guide my steps before I take them. It’s meant trusting that my value doesn’t increase or decrease based on who stays or who leaves.

Partnership is not the source—it’s the overflow. When I’m aligned with God, I’m already whole. Any relationship I have is an addition, not a foundation.

So if you’ve been searching for completion in another person, let this be your reminder: you are already complete. Your alignment is the soil where your wholeness grows. Protect it, nourish it, and let God tend to it.
