Faith Over Fear: My Finances
There was a time when checking my bank account felt like emotional warfare.
I never knew what was in there or if I had enough to make it to my next paycheck. I lived in survival mode, always holding my breath until payday—only to find out something unexpected had wiped out my account.
So during this “Faith Over Fear” series, I decided to test myself in every area. And finances? That was one of the scariest.
I was tired of just making it.
Tired of scrambling.
Tired of being broke before every breakthrough.
So I made a declaration:
“I will no longer be broke. I will always have overflow—no matter what.”
Then something strange happened:
I started noticing I always had a set amount in my bank account right before payday. It wasn’t magic—it was mindset. It was surrender. It was God.
Now, if you haven’t experienced something like this on your journey—or if you’re closed off to the idea that mindset and faith can shift your money—this post might not be for you. And that’s okay.
But for those of us who’ve tasted scarcity and decided we’re done living there: this one’s for you.
God allowed me to stop checking my account in fear—and start checking it in faith.
Because stewardship isn’t just about budgeting—it’s about surrendering.
It’s trusting God with both the overflow and the just enough.
Now, I track my money.
I plan for increase.
I expect abundance.
And I manage my resources like a woman who believes she is supported.
If you’re navigating financial stress while juggling motherhood, healing, or the weight of your next move—you don’t have to carry it alone.
